Our Philosophy
At Flora Speech Pathology, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to communicate their thoughts and feelings effectively. Our team of certified speech-language pathologists are passionate about helping children aged 18 months to 17 years overcome communication challenges and achieve their full potential. We work collaboratively with families and other healthcare professionals to provide individualized treatment plans that are tailored to each child's unique needs.
Tania Attard
Director and Practicing Senior Certified Speech Pathologist
Tania completed a bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology at La Trobe University Bundoora in 2006. She has extensive experience working with children in schools and private practice settings supporting them in various aspects of their speech, language and communication development.
Tania has completed training in Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), Hanen It Takes Two to Talk, Working with Children with Autism, Working with Children from Multilingual Backgrounds and The Sound System. As well as Lidcombe Program Consortium training, Read 3 program training and Gestalt Language Processing training.
She is particularly interested in working with children with language and literacy difficulties, speech sound disorders and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Tania is committed to and passionate about improving the communication skills of her clients and ensuring that each individual’s needs are met in an engaging and positive way.

Jennifer Hill
Practicing Senior Certified Speech Pathologist
Jennifer completed a Masters of Speech Pathology at the University of Melbourne in 2015. Since graduating, Jennifer has supported a research project at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute (MCRI), and worked at the Cerebral Palsy Education Centre, as well as with children in special school and private practice settings. She has experience supporting various aspects of speech, language and communication development. She has completed training in the Picture Exchange Communication System , the PODD Augmentative/Alternative Communication system, and the DIR Floortime model. She has completed training in Little Learners Love Literacy. She has also completed further training on teaching critical communication skills and has completed Lidcombe Program Consortium training and Read 3 program training.
